The main course (Holes 1-18) is ranked 12th in Sweden and is one of the best Links courses in the country. Our Club has hosted many European championships and two European Tour events.
We aim to give you a high-quality golf experience and make your visit a lasting memory of Ljunghusen Golf Club.
Falsterbo is one of the few true classic links courses in Continental Europe. It’s located at the southernmost tip of Sweden on the scenic Falsterbo peninsula, where the Öresund and the Baltic meet. Bird watchers flock to this designated preservation area to spot the migrant birds, so you may pick up more birdies here than you bargained for.
The club has hosted the PLM Open on the European Tour as well as the Skandia PGA Open on the Challenge Tour. It has also hosted many amateur tournaments such as the 1963 European Amateur Team Championship and the 2009 European Ladies Amateur Championship.
It was common for Falsterbo residents to work on the sea. A large shed in the ruff on the 18th hole was built to service the local fishermen.
